Why is the glacier silent?

The glacier is silent - less and less calving. The temperature of the water of the glacier lagoon is already up to 8 degrees celsius. How long may icebergs survive at that temperature? Why is the glacier silent?

Lovely Danni! I like the way the berg is repeated in the middle and the color of the background.
